Sumps

DON’T LET YOUR BASEMENT FLOOD!!!

 DuPage Radon Contractors, Inc. now

installs Professional Grade Primary and Backup Sumps!

At the time of installation of a radon mitigation system, the sump pit will be sealed as a part of the mitigation process. Experts estimate the average sump pump will last 5 - 7 years. If you have not yet replaced your sump pump, you are overdue and should replace it soon.

DuPage Radon Contractors, Inc. has recently been selected by a local Chicago manufacturer of quality sump systems to represent and install their professional line of sump pumps. You know their consumer back-up sump system, the Basement Watchdog. The company that makes them is Glentronics, located in Lincolnshire. The Watchdog is available at many locations in the area. We have been installing these for years and are proud to have been selected to install their Pro Series professional line.

This professional line of sump pumps provides superior protection of your home at a reasonable cost. They provide exceptional pumping power and water removal while providing the most energy efficiency of any pump on the market.

Our service in replacing your worn out sump at the time the mitigation system is being installed is as follows:

  • replace the old worn out sump pump with a new Pro Series sump pump and
  • install and seal the sump cover.

If you have a mitigation system already installed our service in replacing your worn out sump is as follows:

  • remove the sealed sump pit cover
  • replace the old worn out sump pump with a new Pro Series sump pump and
  • reinstall and reseal the sump cover.

We can also install or replace a battery backup sump system at the same time. We strongly recommend this be installed if you have or are going to have a finished basement.

Call us for a free quote on the replacement of your sump pump or the addition of a battery backup sump. It will be less than local plumbers charge. You will have the peace of mind that the sump pit has been resealed properly to maintain the integrity and effectiveness of your radon mitigation system.

Winter is the best time to have this work done, before spring rains arrive.
