As an introduction to radon, its dangers, and how to deal with it, we highly recommend reading the EPA publication Radon: A Citizen's Guide to Radon, Protecting Yourself and Your Family. Another excellent publication on how to deal with Radon in your home is the EPA publication Radon: A Consumer's Guide to Radon Reduction, How To Fix Your Home

We are radon mitigation specialists and provide mitigation services primarily in the Northeastern Illinois counties of DuPage, DeKalb, Kane, Kendall, and Will. As you can see from the individual county web sites above, about 50% of the homes in these counties have radon levels above the EPA and State recommended level.  We offer Free Inspections and Quotes to homeowners.

We have been in business for over 17 years and have completed about 10,000 successful mitigations in western Chicagoland. We stand by all of our work and guarantee results. We will make your home healthier! Read the Chicago Sun Times article from January 14, 2008 about the story of one of our clients.

Our license number, issued by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency-Division of Nuclear Safety is RNM2007205. We are also members of American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (AARST) , Warrenville Chamber of Commerce, Naperville Chamber of Commerce, and Coldwell Banker Concierge Service.

32 Illinois Administrative Code 422, Adopted Rule Section 422.70 states that "Mitigators shall not perform radon measurements before or after the installation of a mitigation system at the same address as the mitigation installation". For a list of testers in the western Chicagoland area, please refer to our links page. If you do nothing else, please, have your home tested!

If you are relocating out of the area and would like to check the radon situation where you are moving to, check the EPA Map of Radon Zones . A radon test is still recommended.
